First glimpses of the new boat at the steel fabricators

The naming ceremony was held at the Ellesmere Port Boat Museum on Saturday 24th April 2010 at 12 noon by the Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, Dame Lorna Muirhead, DBE in the presence of the Mayor of Ellesmere Port and the Mayor of Wirral. 

For those unaware of our past history, the first of our Narrowboats was named "RAINBOWS END" and so it seemed obvious that the new boat be named  "POT of GOLD"
