The maximum number of passengers is 12 on day trips and 10 on residential breaks, inclusive of carers.
The Skipper shall be in overall command throughout the trip. Passengers must comply with any instructions that the Skipper may give them relating to the movement and mooring of the boat and their conduct whilst onboard. The Skipper may refuse to carry any passenger whose conduct is considered dangerous or disruptive to other passengers or crew and if necessary may cancel or curtail any trip should such a situation arise.
The person nominated as ‘Trip Leader’ shall be responsible for the conduct and welfare of the other passengers in their group and shall be required to sign the boat log sheet to that effect at the start of the trip.
The Client shall be responsible for arrangement of and payment for transport to and from the agreed departure and return point and the provision and preparation of any food required during the duration of the trip.
If the Client arrives later than the agreed departure time it may be necessary to shorten or cancel the trip and any such decision shall be at the sole discretion of the Skipper.
No drugs other than prescribed medicinal drugs are permitted onboard. Smoking is not allowed in the cabin. No dogs, except for guide or assistance dogs, are allowed onboard.
Removal and disposal of any clinical or sanitary waste from passengers shall be the responsibility of the Client. Such materials must not be placed in the toilet bowl. The cost of clearing blocked toilets will be passed on to the Client as will the cost of any loss or damage by passengers to fixtures & fittings or other onboard equipment however caused.
Bookings are subject to receipt of a completed and signed booking form accompanied by a cheque for the deposit of £25 per trip booked or the total cost. The balance must be received no later than 30 days before the sailing date. In the event of cancellation by the Client the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellation by the Client, less than 10 days before a trip will result in a 100% cancellation charge.
On rare occasions it may be necessary for us to cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control. We will always give as much notice as possible of any such cancellation and in that event will do our utmost to offer a suitable alternative arrangement. If no suitable alternative can be agreed then any monies paid by the Client shall be fully refunded.
We shall not be liable for injury to any passenger whilst travelling on, embarking on or disembarking from our boats or for loss of or damage to personal belongings unless such injury or loss arises due to our own negligence or that of any of our volunteers.
